FreeWebsites Platform is a monthly digital platform subscription. Payments are for access to the hosted dashboard, hosting, SSL, website publishing tools, content update tools, forms dashboard and support resources during the active billing period. This policy explains when refunds may and may not apply.
2Digital Subscription Access
Your subscription provides access to a hosted website platform and its tools. Because access is delivered digitally, monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable once access has been provided for the billing period.
3Monthly Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly. Monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable once access has been provided for the billing period, because platform access, hosting and SSL are made available to you for that period.
4Cancellation
You can cancel according to the billing terms shown at checkout to avoid future renewal charges. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through the secure Dodo Payments checkout or customer portal where available, or by contacting support. Cancelling a subscription may limit or end access to platform features, hosting and live website availability. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund a period that has already been provided.
5Refund Eligibility
Refund requests may be reviewed for billing errors, duplicate charges, platform access issues, or where required by law.
- A billing error.
- A duplicate charge.
- A platform access issue that prevented use of the platform.
Where Dodo Payments rules require a refund, or a refund is used to prevent or resolve a chargeback, those rules may override this seller policy.
6Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds are generally not provided where platform access has already been provided for the billing period and the platform was available, including cases such as deciding not to use the platform after access was granted, or cancelling partway through a billing period that has already been provided.
7Failed Payments And Access
If a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, platform access and hosted website availability may be limited, suspended or cancelled according to the billing terms. Keeping your billing details up to date helps avoid interruptions to your platform access and live website.
8Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method through Dodo Payments. Refund timing may depend on the payment provider and customer bank.
